Freelancer.com is looking for the best Hire Me widget designs! A grand prize of $1,000 awaits the best design and $50 will be awarded for the next 30 best designs! That's 30 x $50 to be won! You can enter as many variations as you like!
The Hire Me widget will help you as a freelancer to show off your reputation, feedback, and skills to attract work from your own site, social media and e-mail. You can refer potential and current employers using the Hire Me widget ensuring that you are the only freelancer that will be awarded with that project! We're currently improving this Hire Me widget and it needs some loving from you too! Create designs that you will be proud of and benefit from it in the future! Join this contest now and enter as many designs as you want and see your winnings grow!

There are many in the top 34 that are basically the same design ( maybe two different. colors) I think they will sort that out and offer the prize to top 30 unique designs ! They should at least.

Ok guys listen up. I did my best to deliver you the full package of hire me cards and widgets, but its very hard with those tiny deadlines. I also make one different mockup at first and ended with something in completely different style. I tryed to make it in gold'n'black style but it was very hard to find proper gold style or color, and I really liked how it looks in blue and green combo so i made it that way. I can restyle it easy if thats the problem. Im also thinkin about scheme with red and white but i think that the red is not the proper color for that type of images. I tryed to make one graphical proggression from the tiny widget to the bigger skill card (its still a widget, but its shaped like bussiness card so i call it skill card) and i think i made that part perfect. I didnt received any feedback from you at any point, so I draw it on my own, with my own style and my own vision. Im designer from a long time ago, and thats my most favourite style.

Hope you like the style but most important hope you like the idea of the symbols, representin our skills. It looks futuristic, it gives us more info in non-verbal easy-to-read way, and when those unique cards and symbols get popular (and that will happen, because they r unique, useful, beautful and they will help us to be recognised in the IT crowd) they will boost the site popularity as well and we will grow bigger. Some people may join freelancer.com just to obtain that unique futuristic IT card. The widget is cool as well but the skill card is the ace in the marketing deck

ops guys.....i just made by mistake the best logo for freelancer.com.......i just draw the logo by my intuition then i saw that its not designed like this....its the same bird but in different position, if you move one wing at right and rotate her head a bit, it will look both as F and as bird. :D

btw our logo looks like twitter logo and i was wonderin a lot why a lot of freelancers use twitters logo in their entries instead of ours, but i guess i didnt saw it properly :D

I know that a lot of people wont like or wont get my new concept, but just think about that guys. You join freelancer.com and instead of givin u one simple pic with ur name on it, that u can share with anyone who doesnt know your name or your face, instead of that you get a cool black (brushed aluminium pattern with golden symbols on it) skill card, with not just ur name and face on it, but also everything important about u that ppl must know. They will totally replace the need of portfolios, bussiness cards and IT social networks. With these special cards, Freelancer.com community will easily grow as society :) they will make our community unique and easily recognisable. Think bout it. :)
