The 'Touring Weekend 20xx' (xx stand for the current year) is an annual motorcycle touring event that begins on Thursday and last until Sunday. The main attraction are the different skill-level, guided rides of up to 20 motorcycles per group. In the evenings, participants join for a buffet-style dinner and motorcycle related presentations. Vendors also set up shop at the home base. ~500 participants join every year.
The event is held in a different area every year in mid-July, and typically is in a mountainous region of the Appalachians along the East Coast of the USA.
The target audience consists of male and female motorcycle enthusiasts (not to be confused with "Son's of Anarchy" or "Hell's Angels" type bikers). The age range is typically between 30 and 60.
BIG TIP: Check out the link below and pay special attention to the gallery at the bottom of the page. It will give you a feel of what the event is like.
