I have a suggestion to make though, is this app supposed to work as a product for your site/service ?
I can develop this app in 2 ways :

#1 The image itself is uploaded via the iPad but all the photo manipulations will take place using/on your site itself which will be loaded within a webcontrol in the app
#2 I can create a full native image editing app for your service/brand (like instagram) which will incorporate all your existing frames and image filters (crop, move, cut, text, onimage filters, etc.)

The difference between #1 and #2 is that in #2 the UI will be more better and optimized for iOS 7 use rather then the plain clear white UI of the site. This IMO will look way better and pleasent to user while in use.
But since #1 way will actually load the site itself in a webcontrol, it will have the app look and work 100% same way as the site, so if any gfx or features ever get broken on site, the app will get affected too. Not to mention #1 way will always require internet connectivity to load your site and webcontrol
