Hi peachorange (lol),
I am bidding on your project, as I am a car guy, and that's what I do. Seriously. I only do car related stuff on Freelancer. I got into cars back in grade school while watching Knight Rider. It blew my 7 year old mind to know I could someday buy a black Trans Am just like KITT. Eventually I did, although a 1991 model, and still have it today. Since then I've gone through a '75 Camaro, '00 Alero, '02 IS, '04 Cobra and currently daily drive an '07 Prius (yeah, I know...). I keep up with the new models in the industry, news, motorsports, aftermarket stuff, you name it. I love cars. So I think this project sounds interesting. It would have been helpful to have more info (are your 50 cars classics, defunct brands, supercars, etc), but it does sound like a fun project. I have a knack for finding weird/interesting info. For example:
The original '64.5 Mustang was based on a concept car that was mid-engine and only had 2 seats.
The Trans Am hood bird was originally planned for the '69 model, but executives thought it looked "too Indian."
Sears used to sell their own brand of cars through their catalog. They would ship in a crate, and the owner would assemble it.
Kingsford charcoal is a throwback to the early car days, when you would get a bag of King's charcoal free with every Ford car purchased.
That's off the top of my head. I'm a car nerd. :)
Thanks for your consideration.
