Rename files using PowerShell

Project Description:
Need a PowerShell script that will rename all files in a folder (and traverse down all subfolders). Files are in the format:

Movie Title D1234B9 category.avi

and need to be renamed like:

Movie Title.avi

For example, "Field of Dreams D4356B1 drama.avi" should be renamed to "Field of Dreams.avi"

So you just need to look for the format DXXXXXX and remove that and everything after it.
