Fix my Tumblr theme to handle high-resolution photos (for retina display) -- 2

I need to modify the current theme I'm using on tumblr to handle high-resolution photos for retina displays. I know this can be done since I've used a few themes that claim to be "retina ready" and all of the photos appear very nicely on the page. My page is here: [login to view URL] You can see that the images appear to be blurry on the homepage slider. I've uploaded a screenshot of the homepage and the original file for reference.
