Cometchat modification to show a group of users of the same Location - repost

Project Description:
Hi,

I have a site based on Joomla- Jomsocial- Cometchat

I need to modify cometchat to be able to show a list of the users that are online available for chat of the same city of the users, if there's none of the same city, then de state, then the country.
Like this "People of New York chatting" (and ordered acording to the distance to you)
also list the people in the state of the user "People of the New York State"
and the "people of the USA available"

I have GeoIpMaxming ipstalled and other Geolocation apis. I'm the sysadmin of the server.
