If this is the case, why using mysql and not some document oriented database such as mongodb where you have operations on points (i.e. you can search for points at certain distance from another point)? Some of my qualifications include developing and deploying a python/django backed website with a blog and online store that uses a mysql database. I also frequently develop various utility scripts in python. I have a few questions about the project: You're saving the plot data in a database. Does this mean users will be able to log in and retrieve data that they have previously entered? The alternative would be to user cookies to pull up the users database info but that would only allow the user access temporarily. Also, the site consists only of the three pages?
