Project Description:
*** Technologies involved: Centos 6.3 64 BIT, SOFTACULOUS VIRTUALIZOR for KVM, 3 SINGLE IPs and one /29 Internet IP subnet on Hetzner Datacenter ***
Hello,
This is a very quick 30 mins project hence the low-fixed budget of ***$30***.
- You will be given access to my PC via Teamvviewer so I can see what you're doing
- You will be given SSH access to a server which will have a minimal installation of Centos 6.3 (64 Bit)
- You will be given access to Virtualizor control panel
- You will be given SSH access to 3 VPS on the server
- Virtualizor panel already installed and created 3 Virtual guest.
ALL I NEED IS A SETTING UP OF ONE ADDITIONAL IP SUBNET SO THAT I CAN USE THAT IPs WITH EXISTING VIRTUAL MACHINES.
- THE IMPORTANT BIT:
As part of the installation, the system ends up with a bridged network configuration, which if you don't configure it further and proceed to a reboot the server becomes inaccessible. This is not acceptable because there is a data on the VPS which can not be loosed!!! You are therefore required to configure the networking part of the KVM system so it works AND routes a /29 subnet that I have to the VM guests. Please note that Hetzner uses some special configuration rules for virtual machines wich can be found on their website wiki.
TESTING: You will have a ip pool and setup correctly the networking part and add 1 additional ip to existing VPS. I should be able to connect to it via the Internet and confirm full Internet connectivity of the guest. If the guest responds as expected while having one of the /29 subnet IPs then your job is DONE.
That's it!
CHEAT-SHEET:: I have here for you a link that does explain the networking process for a the same datacenter, with a /29 subnet, Instructions for installing additional IP addresses can be found here: http://wiki.hetzner.de/index.php/Zusaetzliche_IP-Adressen/en
The link is an important information and bits are self explanatory!
Thank you for bidding.
