Project Description:
Role & Responsibility:
? Responsible for designing the Test life cycle and for developing Test Plan & Test case, QA Release notes.
? Review of Functional specification, preparing traceability matrix, test strategy, test estimation and plan.
? Identify and asses risk throughout STLC cycle and prepare mitigation plan to avoid any threat to delivery.
? Perform automation, performance and functional testing on FO.com Product, which is enhanced frequently.
? Prepare test plan and scenarios for Non-functional areas like internationalization and time-zone testing.
? Gather & identify test metrics in end-to-end test program and analyze future trend Plus current maturity.
? Creating and maintaining install shield script creation and prepare build on each testing and release cycle.
? Analysis and identify test data requirement and prepare SQL query to create master and transaction data.
? Obtain Product licensing requirement from sales and implement in application program, build, test & deliver
? Develop and crystal report template and construct SQL query to generate report based on requirement.
? Log all defects identified in all testing phase and monitor its fixing progress based on Defect lifecycle
? Conduct weekly and monthly meeting to highlight test progress to all stakeholders and management
? Interact with client and business group to collect requirement for future release and product enhancement
? Identify frequently executed regression test case to automate and reduce time/effort in each testing cycle
? Develop & implement automation framework based on FO.com product, organization goal & Test objective.
? Coordinate with business and client team to determine service level requirement for Product performance
? Prepare performance test script, test data and test scenario to conduct smoke, stress & soak testing
? Coordinate with Business, development and architecture team on delivered performance test report.
? Participate in Performance tuning exercise of FO.com product and walkthrough on Performance test report and application monitoring counters.
? Perform Database testing like schema & data validation, Query, Store proc, triggers and views verification.
? Enforce the adherence to the company's Quality processes and procedures
? Testing tools setup, maintenance, up-gradation, support and coordination with vendor on licensing and cost
? Motivate team members and organize internal trainings on FO.com product and other testing methodologies
? VB.Net code review, walkthrough based on checklist and debugging code after bug fix by developer
Tools Used: Test director, Quick Test Pro, SQL Server, VB.net, Loadrunner, VB script, Install shield, WAST
