I am a professional software architect and developer. I am active in the field for more than 10 years. I have been working on various technologies from embedded device programming to web and cloud development. At this moment, I focus my interests on game development for the web, desktop and mobile platforms. At the same time, I work on projects that serve every day needs in various vertical markets. One of my most important projects, I consider to be "Amnesty - the game". It is a free game developed from HGDA for the needs of Amnesty International. It is a serious game and focuses on informing people around death penalty. The hope is that people will be motivated and go active in order to abolish death penalty as a way of punishment. I was a volunteer for this project and I was given the position of Lead Programmer. I am a member of the board of HGDA (Hellenic Game Developers Association). Our purpose is to help develop a viable industry around game development in Greece.

Hurtbeat was developed in "Global Game Jam 2013". We participated on "Global Game Jam HGDA Athens" site and Hurtbeat was nominated the third prize on the local contest. Hurtbeat is a maze game about a leukocyte that tries to protect the body organs from infections. The body is attacked by evil viruses and the only resistance is you in the role of the leukocyte. The viruses are multiplying every now and then and they attack your body organs, causing damage to your heart. There are 5 different types of viruses and each one has it's own behaviour. As a leukocyte, you have to switch between body organs in order to clean them from infections. Every organ is a maze, representing the complexity of human body. Every-time you kill all viruses, the organ levels up and a new bigger maze comes to being. In order to assist you in your tough work, various pills appear in the mazes. By taking those pills you may heal the body or make it more difficult for the viruses to cause dam
