1) Heredity Some people are considered to be more prone to skin tags and they suffer more, and some people have a few or no skin tags in the body. This is usually due to heredity characteristics, the DNA acquire by a body from its parents is one of the phenomenon for the causes of skin tags. If the parents are more prone to skin tags there are more chances that its offspring will also suffer from the same problem. 2) Skin Type Another factor that leads to the cause of skin tags are the types of skin a person has. A sensitive skin is considered to be more prone to skin tags, and the dry skin usually has more skin tags than the normal or oily skin. It’s a natural phenomenon to have different types of skin which is also somehow related with the above topic that is the DNA of the parents. 3) Diabetes/Obesity Diabetes or obesity is considered to be one of the most important causes of having skin tags in the body. Usually, fat people or overweight people have more skin tags in the groin and other parts of the body. In the same time, physically fit people have lesser skin tags compared to the people having diabetes and obesity. 4) Other causes There are other several causes of skin tags. It mainly arises due to the natural circulation of hormones around the body, and among females pregnant women develop a large number of skin tags due the rapid overflow and rubbing of the skin. Rubbing of the body parts is the basic cause of developing skin tags over the body. A male’s insulin also causes the skin tag to develop in the layer of the skin especially in the genital area. Studies show that skin tags can occur to every type of people and it’s not considered by anyone to be a major source of disappointment as it automatically comes and fades away. How to Take Off Skin Tags Taking off skin tags sometimes maybe a lengthy and painful process depending on the type and size of the skin tags. Skin tag can be removed or taken off from the skin by either manually or by applying products helping to fade the skin tags from the body. Manual work applies the use of threads and string to cut off the blood supply and the electrolysis process to manually take out the skin tag directly from the skin. Another process is to apply several cosmetic products or home products to help skin tag deplete from the skin which requires patience and to-do-list. 1) Let’s discuss about the manual work. A skin tag is removed by tying a thread, string or a dental floss around the skin tag and tie it for about 3 to 4 days. After doing this the blood stream that flows towards the skin tag will be stopped. Eventually, the tissue and cells building the skin tag will fail and the skin tag will ultimately fall down from the skin. It is a quite lengthy process and may not give the desired result. Another remedy is by consulting to the professional medical supervisor to use a electrolysis needle to remove the skin tag manually from the skin. It is a process done by the professionals where a special needle is used to remove the skin tag manually form the upper layer of the skin and the lying parts underneath the skin tag. 2) Taking off skin tag can be also done internally by using some cosmetic products like. H-Skin Tags, Dermatend, Amoils, Dermisil skin tag remover. These chemical products are available in the market which are specially designed to remove the skin tag from the layer of the skin. Usage of these chemicals will help to slow down the process of skin tag development and eventually will make the tags smaller and finally deplete the skin tag from the skin. There are several home remedies as well which can be helpful to take off the skin tag from the body parts which include applying cider vinegar to the skin tag, applying mixture of baking soda and castor oil, by tying a thin string around the skin tag, using vitamin E products to make a lotion and applying directly to the skin tag, helping it to fade away form the skin. Therefore, this process helps to take off the skin tag. Are Skin Tags Warts? Most of the people get confused between skin tag and warts. Despite these differences there are many similarities between skin tags and warts and that’s the reason why most of the people get confused between skin tags and warts because their physical appearance is exactly the same. Secondly, they both are harmless and method of treatment for both of them is the same, they both can be cured by using the same products and remedies. Skin tags and warts have a completely different root. Warts are caused by the HPV virus which is non-cancerous and most of the time not harmful. On the other hand, skin tags are a common phenomeonon
