Contest Brief
For this project, I would like an image painted with a watercolor/ watercolor pencil effect. I have very specific ideas for how I would like the image painted, and whoever gets closest to what I am asking will win the contest.
For the sky: please see sky images 1 and 2 for the style I want.
For the water: please see water images. I want a blue/green color for the water, with the lilys, lily leaves and trees reflected in the water. See also image “water and lotus leaves”
For the lotuses: please see image “style for lotus flowers”. I’d like a variety of dark pink, pink, light yellow and white lotuses.
For the lotus leaves: please see image “style for lotus leaves and lotuses”. If you can paint some water droplets on the leaves, even better.
For the trees: see image “trees and tree reflection in water”
For the halos: see image “style for halos, face/skin and clothing.” I want both halos to have the see-through rainbow coloring, and I want the trees and lotus that fall within the halos to have the same rainbow coloring as in this image. I do not want a lot of orange in the rainbows.
For the lady: see image “style for halos, face/skin and clothing.” I want her skin to be light, like in this image. I want the sphere in her hair to be opalescent, like a pearl, and I want the lotus petals in her hair to be painted like the lotuses, perhaps white/beige and pink or yellow at the tips.
For her clothing, I like the dual tone in the “style for halos, face/skin and clothing” image. I like the gold/yellow color, but instead of orange, I want shades of pink and dark pink. So, mostly golden, with shades and accents of pink and dark pink.
For the space outside the outer border: please see "style of ruby edge." I like the difference in colors/ shading in this image, but I want it to be ruby instead of orange.
For the border: choose whatever you like/think looks good

Hello everyone, a quick clarification: what I am asking for is for you to color in the EPS image as if you are coloring in a coloring book page with water color pencils. The images I uploaded are for you to get an idea of the color and style I like for different parts of the image, but not to paste into the image. This will be the front cover of a coloring book, with the front cover being an example of a colored-in image from the coloring book. I still want all of the black lines in the EPS image to be visible and for you to color "behind" the black lines. Please see the uploaded image called "style for halos, face/skin and clothing" for an example of what I am looking for. Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, quick question... do you have any idea of the dimensions of the book? Also, (just thinking out loud!) might be a nice idea for the illustration to spread from the cover, over the spine and onto the back cover.

Good question! The book will be 8.5 by 11, and the ruby colored background will spread over the spine onto the back of the book, where there will be a floral wreath image with text inside.
