Contest Brief

Astute. Daring. Self-assured. Perhaps a bit arrogant. Occasionally bordering on reckless. Degenerate gentlemen. We need a logo that will nail that juxtaposition. Our brand will be repped by a hand-selected group of live and online poker players who display adequate talent, style, and who maybe sometimes just can't quite help but take debatably unnecessary risks, in spite of their better judgement, and, you know, math. That's Degent. We'll be using your design for team gear, including a line of mid-range clothing available for purchase. We'll also be streaming on Twitch, and will incorporate the logo into our channel design, as well as various other platforms. Our target audience consists largely of males ages 16-25 who play poker recreationally, aspire to improve their game and enjoy feeling like they're a part of the Degent team. Please, do not submit logo's that simply use the initials "DP" within a circle, such generic designs will not be considered.

Hello, Please take a look at Entry #126 for your consideration. I have designed an edgy customized logo that represents your team well which is based on your description. Do you have any preference for the wording on the actual logo, or any specific elements of your company that you want incorporated?

  Degent Poker displayed under the logo is really the only wording we would like, and that's optional. We considered having the logo somehow reflect the conflict that is degenerate vs. gentlemen.

Please do not use the initials "DP" as the core for this design, these submissions will not be considered. We are looking for a more unique and original logo.
