Contest Brief
I am a niche-expertise programmer who works as an Operating System Kernel engineer, and I wish to capitalize on my knowledge and begin building a passive income stream from it. I've planned out a video tutorial series of videos approximately 20 minutes long each, to explain complex concepts in simple language.
I will be writing the scripts, since I am the one with the knowledge, and I will be recording the audio. Where diagrams are needed, I will produce them. I promise I will produce the diagrams I think are necessary before contacting you for each video request.
As far as I can tell, what I need from here, is someone who can take my audio, and make some polished, spritzed-up slides to go with the audio content, and make it aesthetically pleasing, and also easy to follow, and give a clean, hollistic finish.
Since this will be a multi-video series, I'm imagining a per-video charge, and each video can be done one by one in sequence -- that's just what seems logical to me, but it's your trade.
For the contest, I will provide sample audio for the first episode, so you can see what the tutorial content will be like. Please find audio for the first episode attached -- the audio for the first episode was recorded about 2 years ago when I was beginning to plan this project, but didn't have the money to carry it out. The audio is a bit bad, but I can re-record it when we start the project. I'd consider it a mark of skill if you submit an entry which is able to master the audio nicely.
If you are selected for the job, I will provide a full strategic plan for what kind of series I want (vision, mission statement, objectives, value proposition, desired tone and ambience, etc). I'm hoping that things should be pretty clear and you shouldn't have to deal with frustration from me as a client with any kind of "Well, I want what you want" dodginess, and that sort of ambiguity. Basically, I want a pretty smooth relationship.
