Contest Brief

The side entrance to our elementary school and gym is a large storefront window. It's very visible to our parking lot. We want to cover it with a perforated window decal that the students can see out of, but that will look like a large image from the outside. We want it to be representative of our active learning elementary school environment. Photos and logo from our website http://www.foundationsschool.com/ can be used, or images from other sources if they fit in with our theme. We are pretty sure we want one large image rather than a separate image in each square, but we will consider that as well.

Greetings, not sure if I`m gonna enter this contest, but just wanted to share a piece of advice with the CH: judging by your dimensions, the whole width of the storefront is over 7 meters. In order to put one photo over the whole area, that photo must be very High Quality and very large resolution in the first place. If anyone just takes a photo from your website or anywhere else from the net, when blown up to 7m it would be extremely pixelated and not recognizable at all. Maybe you should consider some different theme (rather then using photos), cause you need the vector design in order to print something that large. Just a friendly advice, nothing else. My regards.

  That is a very good point. We do have the images from our website in very high quality available by request, and it is more important that it looks good from far away than close up, so maybe that will work? We are fine with either vector based artwork or real photos. We do have our logo available in vector based art as well.
