Contest Brief

Create an animation of the floor splitting and falling down to reveal lava below. An island remains but towards the end falls into the lava.
The lava needs to bubble and spurt, flowing towards the viewer.
No effects must occur outside of a set boundary.
Perspective needs to be true to the eye level of the viewer (5'8")
I'll provide the photo that will be the backdrop but in the mean time as long as the height is set at this the perspective should be ok.
An example of the effect we would like to create for the lava can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSyUeFF9wbU , but again, the lava spurts must not be above the boundary set. Lava must not go into any red areas as shown by the attached photo.
We use Element 3D, particular and After Effects, the format must be After Effects so we can fine tune the effect for our client.

The winner will work with us to fulfill the clients needs. This will include changing orientation of the final effect to take into account the location this is going to be used in, as well as tweaking the final product.

"An island remains"... can't figure out what island you're referring to.

I think I get it, do you mean that part of the floor remains intact?
