(Stella — Caveday Creator's Competition, parallel Freelancer cycle) Contest Description This contest is run by the team behind Uggalot, an original animated series (and novel series) currently in production, airing behind-the-scenes and character content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook under the name Uggalot. We're looking for animators to bring one of our characters, Stella, to life in a short original animation. The character: Stella (aka "Stinky Stella") — full character reference PDF and image/model sheet attached to this posting. Please review both before starting; on-model accuracy is part of judging. What we want: A short animation, 10–25 seconds, featuring Stella Make it FUN. Make it INTERESTING. Remember you are in a competition Entry submission must be an MP4 format Do not put watermarks or your name on the animation Your Stella Story your way Any non AI medium or software is welcome — 2D digital, traditional/hand-drawn, stop-motion, puppet, 3D — we care about the craft, not the tool Content appropriate for a general/family audience: no sexual content, no profanity, no racial/religious insults, no overt violence Prize: $50, single winner, paid through Freelancer's contest payment system. This is a standalone contest run by the Uggalot team — separate from Uggalot's main ongoing community contest hosted on our own site. The same animation cannot be submitted to both contests. If you'd like to enter both, you'll need to create two distinct animations. About Featuring & Social Media This isn't just a paycheck contest — it's also how we find animators and build our community. Entrants, not just the winner, may be featured on Uggalot's social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), with credit to you by name or handle. If you'd like linkable credit, include your public handle/portfolio link somewhere in your submission or entry notes. Winning or being featured does not transfer rights to use your work inside the Uggalot show itself — that's handled separately, by direct agreement, if it ever comes up. Entry only covers social/promotional use. You keep the right to show this work in your own portfolio, with attribution that it's based on Uggalot IP. AI-Generated Work: Hard Disqualifier Any use of generative AI in producing the animation — including AI-generated art, AI in-betweening/tweening, AI upscaling, or AI-assisted posing — will result in immediate disqualification, without review. AI voices and sounds are not disqualifying. We are not judging this on effort or intent — flagged entries are simply removed from consideration. This is a hand-crafted animation contest. To keep judging fair and fast for everyone: Finalists will be asked to submit their native project file (.fla, .blend, .clip, .psd, etc.) alongside a short screen-recorded scrub-through of the timeline/layers. The winner will be asked to complete a brief live screen-share walkthrough of their project file before prize payout. Declining or failing to provide verification forfeits standing in the contest. By submitting an entry you are aggreeing to the attached Terms and Conditions. (Using AI for research or brainstorming reference — not for producing the actual animation asset — is fine.) I understand that on-model accuracy and non-AI production are essential, and I will maintain a clean native project file with organized layers and timeline for verification.
