Modern Pet Lifestyle Brand Project Overview I am developing a new modern pet lifestyle brand with the working name "Best Good Dog Co". I am looking for a LOGO first and then followed up with various illustrations i can use for merchandise and tshirts. The brand will sell thoughtfully designed goods for dogs + their people, including apparel, accessories, home goods, gifts, and select dog products. Initially, many products will be produced through print-on-demand, with the potential to expand into additional retail and private-label products later. I am looking for a designer/illustrator who can help establish the overall brand identity AND create a cohesive illustration system that can be used across merchandise. I am not looking for a generic pet-shop logo or cartoon-style dog graphics. I want the brand to feel like a contemporary lifestyle label that happens to be centered around dogs. Brand Personality The brand should feel: Modern Minimal Warm Playful without being childish Boutique Design-forward Relaxed Slightly witty Elevated but approachable Think more modern lifestyle/wellness boutique than traditional pet store. The goal is to create a brand that dog owners would genuinely want to wear and display in their homes—not simply novelty "dog mom" merchandise. Visual Direction I am drawn to: Minimalist line drawings Simple dog silhouettes Fine-line sketches Mid-century modern influences Abstract geometric shapes Subtle vintage inspiration Clean typography Small understated graphics Editorial-style layouts Modern badge/club graphics Negative space I would like the illustrations to have enough personality that they become recognizable as part of our brand. Please avoid: Cartoon clip-art dogs Paw-print-heavy designs Overly cute fonts Busy graphics Rainbow colors Generic Etsy-style pet graphics Photorealistic illustration Excessive detail or shading Current Color Palette Please work primarily within this palette: Slate Blue #5F7383 Warm Beige #D9CCBE Charcoal #232323 Ivory #F7F5F2 #C77A4A I am open to the designer recommending small refinements or additional supporting colors if they strengthen the overall brand. Phase 1 — Brand Identity I would like help developing: 3–5 initial logo concepts/sketch directions Primary wordmark/logo Secondary logo Round or badge-style mark Simplified icon/brand mark Typography recommendations Finalized color system Logo variations for light and dark backgrounds Social-media/profile icon Mini brand style guide The brand name should work beautifully by itself without requiring a dog illustration in every version. Phase 2 — Signature Illustration System I would like the designer to establish a recognizable visual language for our merchandise. This could include: Minimal Goldendoodle line drawings Dogs stretching Dogs in yoga-inspired poses Sitting/resting dogs Walking dogs Multiple dog breeds Simple silhouettes Mid-century geometric elements Suns, arches, circles, lines, or abstract forms The illustration style should be repeatable so we can continue creating additional collections in the future while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

CH, a timely heads up, you're going to get Many HUNDREDS of entries and most will be AI generated, 99% AI. These scammers do nothing but paste your competition details into an image generator and submit the output in seconds. No originality, no effort, no craft. Genuine hand crafted work takes real time, skill, and human creativity, and that always shows in the result.
