Contest Brief
Hi. My name is Eugene, I am a professional freelance Russian - English interpreter providing simultaneous interpretation services online.
I would like to have a website to attract new clients. The website should reflect the global nature of this service because online interpretation services can be provided regardless of the location of the interpreter and customers as long as the parties have an internet connection. More info on this at the end of the brief.
I am looking for a website that is:
1. Original.
2. Responsive.
3. SEO-friendly.
4. Visually appealing, with attractive graphics.
5. Not too much text.
5. The deliverable must be provided in WIX. Designs using other platforms may only be considered as an exception.
I have a personal website at http://www.RussianInterpreterDubai.com. Please note that the new website is ONLY about online interpretation. I am NOT looking to recreate the existing website.
Here are a couple of useful links (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to visit to understand what I do)
online interpretation - https://www.soundxb.com/remote-simultaneous-interpretation
interpretation in general - https://www.soundxb.com/interpretation-services
N.B.
1. No direct contacts please.
2. I will NOT make the contest guaranteed until I have several good designs to choose from.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Below is some additional information on remote simultaneous interpretation which may be useful to understand for design purposes.
There are basically two ways to have simultaneous interpretation during online meetings and conferences:
1. Use videoconferencing software with built-in interpretation functionality, such as Zoom.
This way the participants simply participate in the meeting on Zoom and select the desired channel from within the application to listen to. This requires a special type of Zoom license, which I have, and I thus offer a complete package - Zoom hosting for the meeting and interpretation.
Zoom is not the only platform which may be used for these purposes, there are plenty of other specialized platforms such as Interprefy, Interactio etc. which are both an online meeting app and an online translation app “2 in 1”.
2. Use separate interpretation software in addition to the videoconferencing software, for example Skype + Speakus.
This way the participants participate in a meeting on Skype, and listen to the interpretation using a separate app, either on their mobile phone, or in another window in the PC.
Also, online interpretation can be used for both purely online meetings (i.e. Zoom), and for physical meetings, when the online interpreter is remotely connected to a physical audio system in the conference room.
