Contest Brief

We've developed an initial cartoon graphic / illustration to represent our team and work in the local community. The image however today is simply a still shot and does not show an active / vibrant community that's meant to reflect "Kinetic Potential" in each segment.

The goal for this contest is to show a broader view of diverse activities in the community that demonstrate KP services in action. We provide tutoring to young students, we provide occupational training for adults, we provide lots of services for people with disability--but overall we're training people to provide support to their local community. We should see some cars passing by...people on bikes...skateboards...it should show how technology keeps us all connected by having all types of devices subtly included in the cartoon graphics--i.e., I-pads, smart phones, blue tooth speakers...

we also provide housing for veterans (big target population so we should see someone in fatigues). If their are buildings in the graphic--we should see a school and a house of worship....

The individuals representing KP staff members should be in the same color shirts with the KP brand on the front....

the idea of the community being in motion and being vibrant--the idea that communities are diverse and that diversity is a positive idea....and that diversity is in appearance, age, ethnicity, physical ability....

You can see an image of our "kp community"...this is the image we're looking to expand showing scenes

we'll use these images on our social media pages, similar to how we have used on the website--so we want the images to show a few different scenes of activity--so our team can pick and choose the different options....let's go for 3 snapshots that compliment each other and make 1 scene but can be used individually as 3 separate images (i.e., big picture is like a banner and smaller pictures are like the personal splash section on social media sites).

Existing image to build from: https://www.kpconnect.com/kp-community

We may use the image on a t-shirt as well...if your design can have this multi purpose use.

Thanks everyone for your submissions --just a reminder that we're looking for something that's more like a "mural" so the whole "canvas" is used to tell a picture--we don't need to include KP Community as the imagery should provide this context...we really like the image that LI came up with and we want to create an original but similar example for our work...excited to see the next iterations. I appreciate your ideas and creativity

Remember, we don't want the words, "KP Community" in the image--we want the image itself to simply represent KP Community because you see people in KP shirts doing the type of work that helps the community and the kind of work we do.

What I loaded from the the link below shows how want you to think about this project--that the entire space is a canvas--a snapshot of the hustle and bustle of the community. Use ALL of the space to put the buildings in and the people--and ideal if we can have some of the small "vignettes" be inside the building (i.e., like when we're tutoring kids using our eLearning platform)....and please don't forget the concept of movement, diversity and KP as community servants assisting people in the community.

Thank you also everyone for your contributions in this contents--we're very thankful.

All...I recently saw this example that perfectly illustrates what I was trying to convey--see how the buildings are in the background and each of the sections used tells a story that could alone by itself be it's own story--scroll to the bottom of this link: https://www.linkedin.com/home

All...I have increased the prize to $25 and provided a sample of the "full community pix"...notice the use of the lines to project movement, the vitality of the scene it communicates a strong message. The focus on technology--these are all elements we want and to include the focus on helping people and activities...growth--most importantly a diverse community, vibrant, with KP serving as the catalyst / facilitator--we're the "energy" that is brought to the community to help it improve.
