Contest Brief

We are looking to develop a corporate identity including:
- Logo (full vector)
- Business Cards (2 sides)
- Letterhead (Digital + Print, A4 format)
- Email Signature
- Desktop Background
- Powerpoint Template
- Company profile page graphics (Facebook, Linkedin and Google+)
- Electronic Newsletter Template
- Color Scheme
- Envelope (A4 + DL)

For the selection phase, you can submit anything that can showcase your concept and help you win (including any number of the requested items).
To complete the project, you will need to provide them all.

We are "IMPACT Residential", a start-up focused on building websites for the residential sector: condominiums, house or apartment complexes, blocks and villas. We build "Remarkable Software for the Residential Real Estate".

We plan to build over 70 such websites this year (each with a custom design) and we need a strong, powerful, yet simple and clean corporate identity, that would appeal to our clients, real estate developers.

Our clients are powerful people, mostly man (but women as well), street-smarts (without much formal education, but usually wise and calm), with a strong character and personality. They have a well developed taste for quality.
We want to appeal to them with style and integrity and we hope you can communicate this through your design.

www.impact-residential.com is our future website, which we plan to build after the corporate identity is ready.

This contest is also conducted as a trial to identify the best designers.
The selected candidate will be working on our upcoming project (the website).
Most candidates submitting high quality designs will be invited to work on future projects (creating website designs for our clients). We expect to have more than 20 projects running in parallel by the end of this year, with more than 70 completed overall by that time.

I will try to put down the reasons why we like #41 the most:

- It communicates what we do, in a simple way: help users "select one" out of many (the gray bar among the four, which resembles buildings) - therefore, 3 bars are too few, 5 or more are probably too much
- It communicates strength and protection through the thick circle (sector) surrounding "the buildings" - we protect users from making a wrong decision by providing accurate, verified information
- The gray color suggests knowledge, professionalism and experience, and also feels calm and elegant (at least to us)
- And green, well, because we're a startup, eager to grow :-)
