Contest Brief
Hey there!
I am an electronic music producer that primarily makes dark, heavy house music. I'm starting a project where I will release a series of tracks based on the Rider-Waite Tarot Card Deck. If you're not sure what that is, skim through the wiki here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rider-Waite_tarot_deck
There are 78 cards and I would like to produce a piece of music for each one. This project will likely take several years, and I will need artwork on a case by case basis. Some tracks will be released as singles with individual artwork, some will be released as mixtapes or albums with one piece of artwork for multiple tracks.
I'm looking for someone that is creative, professional, easy to communicate with (preferably based in the U.S.), and still has room for growth as a designer. I think it would make the project that much more special if I could work with the same designer throughout it's entirety and see how both of our skills evolve over its course.
The winner of the project will get $30 for the first piece of artwork (see below), and we will talk about terms and create a contract. After that, I would like to pay between 10$ and 20$ per piece of art to start off with. As we both continue to grow, the pay rate will increase in relation to how well we work together, quality of your work and your turnaround time.
For the contest, I would first like any interested candidates to take a listen to my first track of the series "The Fool" at the following link https://soundcloud.com/bobbiebill/the-fool-v1/s-4XUUD
If you do a Google image search for "the fool tarot", the original card is the first one that shows up. You will also find plenty of other artists' renditions of the card if you need some ideas.
Please try to take the emotion and vibe of my song and let that flow into your artwork a bit. I want to see something original and unique that has elements of me, you and the the original card. Extra points if you can show some sort of contrast between the general happy vibe of the card and the dark heaviness from my track.

Good luck and happy bidding!!
