Contest Brief

I have a logo created in Photoshop, but I need it vectorized properly so it can be used for print, outdoor signs etc. The logo should be able to scale between 2 cm and at least 3 meters in width. And to be printed using standard printing methods.

I would also want to have your help in creating business cards and stationery. The company is a school so the design for cards and stationery should be simple and NOT be "cute" just because it is a school. Use the logo and colors provided. I would want originals which I could edit names, positions, phone etc in.

I would want originals in jpg, png, eps, ai, psd and pdf with correct color codes (CMYK, RGB etc) so it can be used for both print and on web. I would want ONE separate file per version of the logo. It's actually just two logos and variations of colors. I want the logos both with and without background boxes (black or white).

To all contestants: Since there are so many designs I simply cannot give individual feedback on all. It is right now about 7,5 hours left of the contest and within the coming 24 hours I will single out no more than 3 designs I will look into more closely. I just take for granted that even though your design doesn't include a stationery design it will be included and to my liking. Also, don't forget that in the assignment all the logo version need to be properly vectorized and using correct colors.

I can just add to the information that the logo we are using on the website is the horizontal, with large MGM and colored stripe and the school name below. I think we should focus on using that primarilly. Unless you can find an interesting combination in some way.

Since the first 12 submissions all were general I simply rejected them since they don't give me anything. There are three activities for you to accomplish; vectorizing the logo, creating business card and creating stationery.
