Contest Brief

Here is one card of 80 that needs artwork. There is no dedicated art style to the game so different looking art to my references are okay. Each of the cards are based on real life jobs (Store Clerk), business storefronts (Record Store), employees of businesses (Joe Smith), personal attributes (Saint-Like Character), and physical actions (Tax Evasion).

I need digital artwork that can be scaled down to fit into a 1.75in(h) x 2.25in(w). It's okay if it's not perfect because I can cut off some of the edges to make it fit in the area where the art will go.

Any style is permitted. Simple anime, cartoons, realism, abstract, sketch art, silly, cute, etc. The point of the art is to reflect the concept in the card's title. "Investigative Journalism" is the card I want done for this project. What comes to mind when you think of this title? Maybe someone looking through a magnifying glass or someone conducting a stakeout. Maybe it's a camera crew recording a news anchor or someone peaking at a document they have no permission to view. The final decision is up to the artist to create.

There MUST be a background in the image. It can be abstract and blurred or have an environment, but a background must be present or it will not be accepted.

I would like to charge a cheaper price than what is usual ($10) because I am not extremely wealthy and I need lots of cards. This project is best for newer artists to the website or to people that want to experiment with a new art style that they are not yet confident in. I expect to have full ownership of the image once it is paid for in full.
