  i dont think a contest holder should descripe and defend why he/she choosen a design as a winner, you dont know the contest holders taste nor business. We all have personal taste and approach to designs.

  I like to see a contest holder that looks for potential in a design and realizes that the contest is just the first step to get the concept that closest fits the company. Of course the winning design still needs to be tightened and worked with until it is polished.
