Contest Brief
About us:
Svea Solar is one of the first Swedish companies to offer solar panel installations with guaranteed positive rate of return to the broad consumer market.

The logo:
We are looking for a clean, minimalistic consumer brand logo that includes the name (Svea Solar).
The literal meaning of the name is “Swedish suns”.
The name can either be written separated into two words (Svea Solar) or as one (SveaSolar).
Variations in caps are acceptable (SVEAsolar, sveasolar, sveaSOLAR, etc).
Depicting the sun as a symbol for solar power is a good idea, but optional.
The colors used in the current logo are not important - you are free to use any color or colors.
The logo will mainly be used on our website but it’s nice if it works in print as well.
We prefer a sober minimalism - we are not looking for gradient logos, 3D logos, animations or elaborate graphics
Our current logo is just a temporary design - feel free to try something completely different
What we wish to communicate:
High level of skill and professionalism
Efficient energy solutions
Positive return on investment
Easy to install, easy to use
Environmentally friendly
Solar power, a great source of energy
An alternative to existing large and unresponsive utility companies
Requirements (logos not following these requirements will not be chosen):
Include the full name “svea solar” or “sveasolar”
Communicate confidence, sustainability, efficiency, positive return on investment
Additional info (not required in the logo, but may give you some ideas):
Our main market is Scandinavia / the Nordic region
Our goal is to become the number one choice for solar cell installations in this region
The company is founded by two Swedish engineers
Solar power has for technical reasons and low utility prices been a mediocre alternative in the north - That is now changing
