ABOUT US
I have recently renamed my company to 'The Change Team'. We specialise in the provision of Contract (generally from 3 to 12 months) Programme Managers, Project Managers, Project Planners, Project Coordinators, Technical and non-technical Business Analysts, Process Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Change Leaders. Our new strapline (tagline) will be something like 'Cost Effective Resourcing for Organisational Change Projects'.

Our customers are primarily in the public sector, as well as significant private sector companies.

Every member of 'The Change Team' share several behaviours and traits, including the following, which we prize above all other attributes:

Authenticity and warmth of personality
Considerable Intellectual horsepower
Exceptional communication & negotiation skills
Proven track record in their specific area of specialisation

And...our customers understand that we mostly wear jeans to work (we're 'REAL' people who dress for comfort not for show).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We love working with super talented people, and right now we'd like a super talented someone to inspire us with a brand new logo that'll look just as cool on a letterhead or a business card, as it will on the side of a company vehicle, or the top of our webpage!!

Our new domain name will be www.thechangeteam.kiwi and our toll free number will be 0800 1 20 20 20.

We've got no particular thing in mind, No favourite colours and no expectations. We'll know when we've found our new design guru :)

The deliverables we would specifically like for this contest are as follows:

Mock up of new Website home page with logo
Sample business card and letterhead with logo
Mock up of company vehicle with logo on side

Dazzle us with your brilliance and more design work will be coming your way in the coming weeks/months :)

IMPORTANT: I apologies in advance for any disappointment as I start to reject a large number of designs. I am building a short list with some exceptional designs that appeal to me and my vision. I hope it is clearly understood that I have rejected many designs that are truly outstanding. Therefore, it is a subjective decision and in no way detracts from the creative brilliance that have gone into a lot of them. Thanks again to all contributors. I expect to narrow my Top 10 down to a Top 3 in the next 24-48 hours, and then I'll make more decision from there.

I am sorry my feedback was not comprehensive enough. I am extremely busy and it is hard to find the time to respond to every designer in detail with a full explanation as to why I do not find a particular concept or design appealing.
I will try to be a little more specific for you now...

Your design does not tell me a story! What brand attributes do you feel that your choice of symbols conveys to the observer? It does not say anything to me about project management, change management, business analysis or quality. Nor does it portray to me a clean, crisp, smart, corporate image. Further, I am unable to see any emergent personality in this branding. Lastly, the colour scheme is not appealing to me….continued…

…My friend, if there is any lesson here for you and I both, it is a wonderful reminder that beauty (and brand design) is in the eye of the beholder!
What is exactly right for one person, may not be so for another, and visa versa. Branding and logo design (just like all creative & artistic endeavour) is as much an art as it is a science. Therefore, sometimes an idea or concept will not work, and yet it remains almost impossible to articulate concisely why this is so. I hope you do not mind me sharing my thoughts with you. It is not my intention to cause offence. Please do not dwell on the notion of 'rejection'. You are not being rejected, the idea is simply not what I want. You could very well come up with the world's next big brand name, and make your fortune as a branding designer, but then again, maybe not. Such is the nature of life - and of business. Please do not be disheartened and do not give up doing what you love to do. Thanks again for your efforts. Warm regards. Mark

  The brief outlines in broad terms what the Change Team is. We are a new organisation specialising in providing temporary resourcing for change projects. Whether it's a Senior Project Leader, someone to develop a Project schedule or an analyst specialising in the development of financial reporting, we will provide talented, experienced professionals on contract (hourly rate) to assist organisations with their change projects. Hi. Thanks for your question. For the vehicle signage you can assume our company vehicles will be SUVs (Ford Territory for example).
