Contest Title Design a Professional Impact Report for London Tigers – 5 Page Concept + Full Report for Winner Project Description We are looking for a talented graphic designer to create a professional, modern and engaging Impact Report for London Tigers, a London-based charity working with communities through sport, education, youth development, employment and community programmes. We currently have a draft Impact Report containing approximately 25 pages of written content. The content is already prepared – we are looking for a designer who can transform it into a visually strong, professional publication that clearly communicates the breadth and impact of London Tigers' work. Contest Stage – Design Up to 5 Pages For this contest, designers should create a design concept of up to 5 pages from the supplied Impact Report. You may choose the pages/content that you feel best demonstrate your design approach. Your entry should show us how you would approach: Overall visual style and layout Typography Use of photographs Statistics and key impact figures Quotes and highlighted information Page structure and information hierarchy Charts, icons, infographics or other visual elements where appropriate Consistent branding throughout the report We will judge the competition primarily on the quality of these sample pages. Branding The design should feel clearly connected to London Tigers. Please use the London Tigers website and existing branding as inspiration, including: Brand colours Logo Overall visual identity Community-focused feel The report should feel professional and credible but also energetic, modern and engaging. It should reflect the diversity of London Tigers' work and the communities it supports. Reference Designs We will provide five example Impact Reports that we particularly like. These are intended as design inspiration only. We do not want them copied. Please look at aspects such as: Strong page layouts Effective use of photography Clear presentation of statistics Good balance between text and visual elements Modern editorial design Creative ways of presenting impact and outcomes We are open to designers bringing their own ideas and creativity to the project. Photography We will provide a selection of high-resolution photographs from London Tigers programmes and activities. The final report should illustrate the full breadth of our work and should include a good mix of: Different programmes and activities Sport and non-sport activities Children, young people and adults Different ages and backgrounds Male and female participants Community activities and events Where there is a genuine need, designers may suggest or use a small number of appropriate royalty-free stock images, but our preference is to use authentic London Tigers photography wherever possible. What Happens After the Contest? This is important: The winning designer will be selected based on their up-to-5-page sample design. Once selected, the winner will then be required to: Apply the winning design/theme to the entire Impact Report (approximately 25 pages). Work with us on reasonable amendments and refinements. Place the supplied photographs appropriately throughout the report. Create appropriate graphics, statistics, icons or infographics where they improve the presentation. Ensure the whole document has a consistent professional design. Supply the completed, print-ready PDF. Supply the fully editable source file used to create the report, with all fonts/assets appropriately licensed or packaged where permitted. Please only enter the contest if you are willing and able to complete the full report if your design is selected as the winner. What We Are Looking For We particularly value: Excellent editorial/report design Strong typography and layout Creative use of photography Ability to turn large amounts of text into visually engaging pages Good presentation of statistics and impact information Clean, modern and professional design Strong attention to detail Consistency across a multi-page publication A design appropriate for a well-established London charity We do not want a generic corporate template with our logo and colours added to it. We want something that feels specifically designed for London Tigers and tells the story of the organisation and its impact. Files Provided Successful entrants will have access to: Draft Impact Report – approximately 25 pages of content London Tigers logo/branding High-resolution London Tigers photographs Five example Impact Reports for design inspiration Guidance within the draft document regarding suitable photography and imagery Judging The winner will be selected based on: 1. Overall design quality 2. Creativity and originality 3. How well the design represents London Tigers 4. Use of photography and visual storytelling 5. Presentation of statistics and key information 6. Readability and handling of longer sections of text 7. How successfully the design could be applied consistently across the full report Please submit up to five finished sample pages, rather than simply a cover page or mood board.
