Contest Brief

We are looking for a clean design for our existing deals website(www.bachatdeals.com) (based on group buying model), we require someone to design the following 2 pages :

- Homepage
- Product detail page

Notes :
-We already have an existing logo (attached).
-Entire contents (header elements, sidebar etc.) that need to be in the design are at our existing UI : http://www.bachatdeals.com/walk-a-mile-in-hugh-hefner-s-shoes-only-rs-1169-for-playboy-shoes-free-delivery-and-cod-available-choose-from-2-designs-2-colors.html
-The color scheme can be decided accordingly by the designer, below are general guidelines (Logo color cannot change)

General guidelines for homepage:
1 - Homepage should contain a small popup image with a small signup box (for email address only) and a drop down to select a city.
2 - Behind the pop-up is the homepage with a list of mini product details.
3 - Header should contain tabs for different sections like "Travel" "Food" "Getaways" "All Deals" "Past Deals". The UI of the tabs should be such that hiding that div should not effect the layout as initially the tabs will stay hidden when the site goes live.
4 - Header should have Search, Current Location display (text), Signin/signup

General guidelines for product Details page:
1 - After clicking on any deal from the homepage the user lands on the actual deal page.
2 - For reference the main items on the page are
- Main deal image
- Highlights text
- Fine Print text
- Price, discount, timer,
- Social sharing section (FB, twitter, google+ icons)

We like the following UI :
https://www.dealtoday.pk/

FINAL DELIVERY : There is no coding/ integration effort involved and the resulting delivery should just be 2 PSDs (one for each page) and sliced html.

Thanks for your entry, but the one issue we see with the entry is that it is too much ecommerce driven, usually the group buying sites do not have buttons like Add to cart etc directly on the mini product placeholders, instead the product image has some info and clicking on it will take the customer to the actual product detail page where he/she has the option of buying.

Basically at the start we will not have multiple categories to begin with, so we will hide the tab initially but later on we would enable it, so we would need a UI that is easily adjustable accordingly.

Updated the briefing and removed CSS, slicing the HTML should not require any coding.
