Contest Brief

Hello all,

Amal team is working on a movie project and we need to design an amazing cover for it. Right now, we have finished designing the initial cover but we hope we can get a better result with the freelancer community. Also, one of our main goals is to encourage the youth to learn creative and useful skills which will open many doors to them. Saying that, we have decided to run this contest and ask freelancers to make a small contribution in order to be considered for a larger prize. This action will enable us to support our charitable campaign and support the freelancer community, will allow the freelancers community to contribute to this noble mission and show their work globally.

We have started this contest with $200 but we do plan to increase the prize award to more than $1000 ( can be + $5000) but truly that will be based on the freelancer community reaction of this contest and the number of freelancers who are happy to contribute 5 GBP or more (which will be donated towards Amal charitable programs). Hopefully we will receive some support from you guys so we can increase the award amount but in the end it's optional and we will consider all applicants

A bit more about the movie project and what we want for the movie poster
This movie is about a young Muslim women who inspire the world to end extremism and defeat radical groups. You need to look at movie poster templates and think who can you make a good poster for a movie called 'Harmony' featuring a strong yet innocent women with a head scarf (not covering her face). We need the poster to be clean, well designed and powerful (attract people)

Rules:
1.If you are using any photos they must be copyright free and (allowed to be used commercially)
2.You must deliver a PSD file when you get selected as a winner
3. Amal and indiegogo logos must be in the cover, freelancer logo is recommended as we like to show our appreciation for this great platform
4.The recommended size is 27" x 40" inches

A final announcement, the selected winner/winners must provide a PSD file + evidence of copyright + The original photo used. Please make sure that the size of the poster is at least 27" x 40" inches

Guys, please be aware that we are going to ask about the copyright of the used images when we select the top designs after the contest. If you fail to show that the photo/s are under a license that allow you to use it commercially or you bought the right to use it/them we will have to reject your entry

Ideally, we would like the poster to be similar to 'The interview' a mixture of illustration and photography, presenting a strong modern female muslim (with face scarf), possibly with good illustration of radical group.

Hello, excuse me, I have some concerns...
I understand that the movie is titled "Harmony", so you giving us these its respective logo, which is attached to the "Indiegogo" in the same picture. We can not give these elements in better quality (png, as the "Amal" logo) in order to insert them freely what our creativity lead us?

  Hello GonzaloTellez, Please feel free to be as creative as you wish. What we are asking for is to include 'Amal' and 'Indiegogo' logo or just include the names. Also Harmony is the tittle of the movie which is why it's important to include it.
