Contest Brief

We are looking for a new floor tile design with an Indonesian batik pattern twist to it. I will provide plenty of examples both modern tiles and some batik tile designs that we like for you to develop a new idea from.

Design Criteria:
- Colors: Stick between the color ranges of charcoal, grey, white and light brown.
- Design: Simplicity and flow of design, either by itself or when put together in a pattern of tiles. Along with that make it feel modern, avoid making a traditional design of batik.
- Batik Patterns: To incorporate some level of Indonesian batik design onto the tile, in any way possible. (More examples provided below) keep in mind it must remain modern.
- Quality: Make sure your designs are to the highest quality.
-Dimension: 20x20cm
