Contest Brief

I'm looking for a logo that will reflect my freelance photography business. For more examples of my work, my instagram is robphotoflash

The images I capture depends on my mood and what I want to say at that time, but in capturing these images, I always want to learn something new, so I feel the logo should reflect that we as humans, are always hunting for knowledge. Thats the reason I posted the skull, fused with the lens and the sketch of the camera. I want to show that we are incomplete, that we are always chasing something. So I'm thinking something minimalist. My website and cards will have black backgrounds. Now, in saying all that, I'm not strict about what I want. If anyone has a completely different vision, then I would welcome something different. If you show me something thats badass and I fall in love with it, then I would be willing to change the shape and colours of my website for the logo. I'm not really looking for my name to be incorporated into the logo as my name will be placed somewhere else.

The type of photographs I'm aiming to capture over the next few months will examine the relationship between people and the jobs i.e puppet maker, and an embalmer. I will also be doing another series where peoples faces will be obscured. There was a time when I took images without people like the pipes and drone image of land as I liked the isolation that I've uploaded. I am interested in animals, but when it comes to people, I do like to distort them or as I mentioned, I will be obscuring faces of people.

I'm continuing to look through entries. I like all the turtle designs, but I feel there are enough turtles. There are 2-3 turtles that are my favorite right now. I also like the entry with Anubis. Egypt mythology was something I didn't think of.
