Contest Brief

I am opening a new Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation clinic and need a logo for the clinic. The clinic name is 'InDepth Vision'. The slogan is 'Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation'. The slogan does not need to be in the logo... only if it fits with your design.

Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation (VT&R) is a progressive series of exercises to train the brain on how to use the eyes. It works on the brain-body & brain-eye connections. With VT&R we treat & correct:
- Learning related vision difficulties - 80% of learning is through vision. 1 in 6 kids has a vision problem significant enough to impact learning. Many kids with vision problems get misdiagnosed as having ADHD, dyslexia, learning disability.

- Eye turns & lazy eye - Without surgery we can properly correct an eye turn, ensuring the individual uses both eyes together as a team instead of just cosmetically straightening an eye (as they do with surgery). Through VT&R individuals can see in depth (3D) for the first time in their life!

- Post-Trauma Vision Syndrome - After trauma (concussion, car accident, head injury, aneurysm, etc) an individual's visual system is often significantly impaired. This can be debilitating, causing light sensitivity, blurry vision, difficulty reading, headaches, nausea, fatigue, double vision, motion sensitivity, etc. VT&R is used to rehabilitate these lost or damaged visual skills, allowing the individual to get back to their life.

I am open to either a logotype/wordmark or combination (clinic name & graphic). It is a medical clinic, so I want it to be professional, but it is also a therapy clinic so it needs to be comfortable & inviting, not sterile. The main focus of the clinic is on high-quality vision care. Colour is up to your expertise... I have read that blue symbolizes trustworthiness and black symbolizes quality, but I am open to colour suggestions.

I really like the idea of visual double entendre (like the attached Spartan logo) or using negative space (like the attached Martini House logo or the FedEx logo). Again, this is not necessary, but I like the idea.

I would like to find a good graphic designer that I can work with for future projects as well.
