Contest Brief

PLEASE READ, IF YOU DONT READ YOU DONT STAND A CHANCE TO WIN THERE IS NO POINT IN HANDING OVER A COPY PASTED LOGO, YOU'LL JUST MAKE MORE WORK FOR ME TO RATE IT AT 0. WE ARE LOOKING FOR ARTISTIC WORK HERE. READ AND ASK QUESTION PLEASE. WE WILL REPLY TO ANY QUESTIONS ON CLARIFICATION BOARD.

Design a logo and product pack in the artistic style of the images given where a mixed color woman (part white, part black) with thick curly hair has her hair be a sort of vegetation or plant. Do not hesitate to be close to the original image, but age the woman a little, it should not be a little girl, nor an adult, but a young adult woman around 18-25 years of age. She can be good looking but shouldn't be "bimboish".

There's 2 files to handover. The logo itself + the low rez version to print on a wooden box (of cheese) as the one in the attached files. These are Vacherin Mont-d'or boxes for those who are interested, which is a type of swiss cheese. The client wants to bring swiss cheese into a new age where it's represented by people who look like the current population of switzerland and that is represented by this girl who is half white, half black.

FILE 1:

The artistic image, high def, full color of your own making, your own art.

FILE 2: low rez image that can be burned on boxes of cheese. includes the text we provided in the pictures. I've attached a file where the french text is translated on top of the image for everyone who doesn't speak french.

FOR NOW ONLY DO THE LOGO. No NEED TO WORK ON LOW REZ AS WE'LL TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT TOGETHER AFTER YOU WIN THE CONTEST. IT WILL NOT BE PAID EXTRA. Futher work for the same brand (is likely) will be of course paid extra on per hour basis around 15 USD / EURO per hour. Looking for stable artist + long term relationship with brand. Keep all files in this perspective.

Edit 1* The VOGUE image shows the style of ART that we want. Please follow that style. Black & white or etching is not desired. We want high quality cartoon style art like the vogue image.

    hi CH .you should ask if all works are vectors.. they can use pictures from internet that you cant print it in high resolution. vector files are oridinal work and can change colors and can print it in high resolution.
