Welcome to our exciting logo contest :-)

The below details are to help spark your creativity.

We welcome all ideas you have and will provide helpful feedback quickly, so we can collaborate together closely.

3) What Makes Us Different?

- We are a technology company at heart, with our team from Silicon Valley.

- Some themes about our identity:

Connection / Opportunity

- We are very much the opposite of a traditional recruitment agency.

- We are helping skilled professionals find jobs.

- We all know how tough it can be to get that perfect job, so our brand is about the '1 yes' it takes to get you that big break and find your dream job.

4) A Few Ideas For The Logo:

- We prefer not to see any visuals of specific job types in the logo, since this would limit us as we expand to more categories of jobs.

- We prefer our logo to be neutral, welcoming your interpretation (e.g. of the business name) or some other abstract visual (e.g. representing opportunity or another element that will standout and be instantly remembered).

- We are flexible to having either:

a) Just text
b) Image + text

- For the text, we are flexible and open for you to design logos incorporating various capitalization styles:

- Any abstract ideas are welcomed. For instance, check out the 'GoToWebinar' icon in the screenshot we saved for you. The 'GoToWebinar' icon shows a kind of interconnection between points which is cool interpretation for their webinar business to connect people through webinars. We would love to see any abstract ideas from you, with visuals related to any of the following:

- We did a small survey and for the mobile home-screen screenshot we shared, the icons for Facebook, Google+ and GoToWebinar were more noticeable to users, due to their crispness in lines and visual clarity of the logos. So any ideas for our logo that are a bit more crisp, bold and clear, basically easy to standout, are a big plus :-)

- We are helping people with different types of skills come together, with the desire to get that '1 yes' from an employer, so we would love to see any logos where we make '1' more unique.

- We also thought about a ring to represent connection. Some example visuals (mosaic images) are attached for you, as reference.

- We are definitely open and would love to hear your ideas with images that express how we serve a diverse range of people from all walks of life and create opportunity in finding that '1 yes'.

5) Some Quick Research / Further Tips:

- Our users have a lot of competitor sites and apps to choose from when it comes to finding jobs, so we are interested in seeing any logos that can help make our brand stand-out and become instantly memorable.

- Our platform will allow users to 'connect' with other job seekers and employers (similar to how you can 'connect' with people in LinkedIn, or also Facebook). Any ideas to show 'connections' would be welcomed.

hi Designers,

please find some feedback for everyone:

- i prefer horizontal orientation logos, so having the (image is on the left-side) + (text is on the right-side).

- if your logo only works better in vertical orientation, you can definitely submit it, but i appreciate if you can add a horizontal orientation as well :-)

- please submit your entries on only white background. this makes it easy for me to review, since our website will be a white background, also easier for business cards.

for *COLOR SCHEME* we like:

- Warm Blues

- Deep Blues

- Warm Orange

- Deep Orange

- Whites

- Greys

- Blacks

- Lines can be any of the above, *OR* used as colours, with lines in Whites / Greys / Blacks

for *STYLE* we like:

- Thicker and more fuller shapes.

- Simple yet also intricate shapes that are intelligent.

- We do not want the logo to look 'thin or weak' but a bit 'fuller' with slightly stronger lining (if possible) - although this will depend on your individual logo style - so please try a few iterations if you need :-)

- we want our brand to show we're a professional and young technology company, like brands from Silicon Valley.

- the logo needs to be clever. also, tasteful.

- we are after ideas that show:

> people socializing / networking (between people), e.g. check out the 'GoToWebinar' attachment logo we included in our brief. it is a cool abstract way to show how they 'connect' individuals.

> or can we show 'opportunity' in some way? some cool concepts we had, which are not yet introduced by any of the designers - maybe a laddar, or a staircase etc. to represent someone climbing up?

> we love origami shapes, or mosaic shapes, like you'll find our original brief.
