Contest Brief
We are Voluntarist Brotherhood a political group and motorcycle club. We need a vector file patch design for leather jackets. I have an idea of what i want for a patch but no artistic ability to draw it out. We're looking for top of the line art design. We want intricacy. We expect the process to take a good part of a day. I need a vector file i can use for t-shirts and embroidery. Its ok to make more than one design for tshirts too. If we think its perfect we'll run with it as our patch which is what we need. We will consider less intricate designs for t-shirt concepts.
Symbolism is important to us. The main part of the patch will center around what is historically known as a chaos or freedom wheel (it also conveniently looks like wheel spokes, 1463719_259640810851615_1938291457_n.jpg) and the VA symbol (voluntarist anarchist). My best idea was to adapt the 'V' so the point of it sits on top of an 'A' inside the chaos wheel symbol. The club name is Voluntarist Brotherhood. Our motto which I would like to see on the patch somewhere small on the design; No initiation, No tolerance. I would like to see the numbers 1-4 maybe at the diagonal points of the chaos star. (representing the first 4 founders of the club.) It doesn't need to look like a stereotypical club cut/patch. We want to avoid the 5 piece patch used by violent motorcycle gangs. We want the main part of the symbol to be bold and visible. I like banners and artistic add-ons. I like geometry shapes and lines. I want it to be very intricate. Colors should be mainly black and white, with some gold.(black and gold are free market capitalist colours.) A little grey and red are ok if you feel you need more options..
The closest, but not drawn well, concept i got that i like the most is 20180306_183100.jpg the one drawn in pencil with two designs on it. I would like it to have a more neat feel rather than a hoodlum look. I will attach a few ideas to work with but i ultimately want the creative genius to be free to do what they feel looks best within those boundaries.
