Contest Brief
I need a silicone aorta. I already segmented the aorta from the CT data and provide a first not yet printable STL file. The first step is to create a printable STL file of the aorta (first milestone). Then a mould has to be developed which can be printed with a 3D printer. The challenge will be to design the mould so that the parts can be completely removed from and out of the silicon aorta without destroying the silicone aorta, and that the mould can be reused. I think the mold must consist of different parts that can be plugged into each other. In addition, in order to guarantee the wall thickness of the aorta, even the smallest vessel outlets must serve as fixation of the inner mould.
the raw STL file can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2x9um9dlbosm6hb/AAB-50Q0CFWRoVcnzlvEVlk7a?dl=0
