Contest Brief

We're looking for an updated logo design for the Gold Coast Four Wheel Drive Club. We are located on Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, and were established in 1975.
Our current logo is a frontal representation of an old style jeep (file attached), and we are constantly mistaken for a Jeep Club, which we are not.

The logo needs to be able to be used both online and on merchandise, so it must look great at a variety of sizes and in a range of media. Sophistication and flair will be key components in finding the right logo, so creativity is highly appreciated!

The logo design should be able to be used both online and on merchandise, so versatility and flexibility should be a main focus when deciding the style of the logo. Whether you create something minimalistic, illustrative, or typographic, make sure to think of the various ways it will be used.

Our current club colours are green and yellow (Green: #2F462E, Yellow: #F6B512), but we would want to use the logo in black and white, bright and bold, or soft and muted colours also, so bear that in mind when creating the design.

We would prefer it if the logo contained a 4wd vehicle (lifelike or cartoon), and elements that show we're outdoors driving, camping, touring, etc.
