Orthodontic Practice Logo

Contest Brief

Looking to have a logo designed for an orthodontic practice. The practice is called "Anchor Orthodontics" and is located in The Ocean State/Rhode Island. I'd like to come up with a simple/sleek, modern logo that the logo of an anchor could be used as a stand alone, or in combination with the words Anchor Orthodontics. I don't want anything childish or related to braces...simple and sleek are most important. I want to be able to put the design on a Yeti and have patients actually use it because it's classy, not quirky. I have attached the Rhode Island state flag with was the impetus for the name of the practice, as well as a few other logos that although not the same field as mine are the style I like. Please note that the Rhode Island state flag is there for reference to the motivation, but it's too traditional looking as-is. The style of the other logos is more useful for the esthetic I'm after!
