Contest Brief

IMPORTANT, please read carefully:

- your job is to compose and arrange the main product image only based on 3D model files of all objects which are a knife, a packaging and a velvet bag. The presentation must be outstanding and present all objects in their most attractive way so that people want to choose to click on that product listing over all others and to buy it immediately

- we want to A/B-test different main images of our product that show in the search results of amazon. The main image is important as it must attract people's attention over all other search results for a product search. It therefore determines the number of people you get to click on your product page in the first place.

- amazon image guidelines must be respected. So basically title images must use white background, 2000x2000 pixels, color splashes/badges/elements other than the product itself are not allowed. So the magic lies in working with different product angles, arrangements, lights, shadows, reflections, sharpness and depth effects

Based on them you can render every object in every angle you need.

- also for better orientation of what the objects actually look like I also added some of our current renderings in the project attachments

  good question actually! Amazon does not explicitly forbid it but I think it is likely they ban an image once it evokes the impression that there could be more than one knife in the set

  Actually the first (main) image in listing should contain only the product itself. However, next images can contain set of products etc.

I'm unable to open the 3d files to provided in my software 3ds max. Can u please provide formats STL, OBJ, FBX, COLLADA etc. So i can work on them.

  ps. I opened the model, looks lovely, I got very usable and photorealistic images in 2 minutes of work. Your cameras can be better. Black box kinda destroys the knife if placed under the knife. I would suggest other colors for the box, to stand out the main products design. Cheers.

  We want to find someone who has the eye for this kind of image work on his own :) so we decided not to provide a reference image. Amazon-savvy designers often know by experience which kind of arrangement converts best.
  
  About the suggested price increase, since the 3D models are already provided there is no need to to any modeling work. All that is needed is to render the objects out in your preferred angle and do the image design work so we think 150$ for a single image ought to be not so bad, right? :)
