Contest Brief

Hi Guys,

We need a website set up for our accounting firm.

Brief:
We already have two websites for branches in other countries: one for the Australian branch: ubtaccountants.com, and one for the UK branch: ubtaccountants.co.uk.

Your challenge is to take the best of both of these websites, and combine them into one that will work for New Zealand. I suggest that you largely copy the UK website, however there may be things such as testimonials etc that should be copied from the Australian one.

Here are some specific directions:

1. Update the address and contact details to the ones attached.
2. About us page: Mostly use the information from the ubtaccountants.co.uk page for this, and have a graphic with 6000+ clients, 13 location 95+ people from the ubtaccountants.com website. Also add in a heading for "our culture", and embed this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g92mEJEQlPg
Under "Our People" use the same description as the UK one, but we also want to include staff profiles in a similar way to this website: https://www.unispace.com/about/our-people. Please see the attached for the information required to do this.

Other General Notes:
The actual layout needs to be professional, and very easy to use.
For the home page, a background video would be great.

So how does this contest work?
1) you design a website (preferably in wordpress)
2) Post a link to the website as a contest entry
3) we will review and post feedback
4) we will select a winner.

Depending on the quality of the winning entry, we also need a global website done in the future, so you would be likely to be approached to help with that, which would be $5k + job.

      The template you have used is fine. No problem with colours etc. To win the contest it needs to be customised for us though.

    Hello Sir,

    I just saw this request, I'm fully ready for developing your new website at the appointed time, just have some previous questions:

    1) Although the design of the site will be original and made from scratch, I widely recommend to use a framework template called The Ark. Its internal architecture offers wide resources to develop and scale any web project from zero to infinity. It only costs USD 29. Do you accept this recommendation?

    2) Modestly I have experience in WordPress development (9+ y), PHP (14y) and HTML / CSS (16y), but I'm a new user on Freelancer.com. Does this detail represent, in some way, a problem to be chosen by you?

    3) I would appreciate your prompt response to the above questions, in order to work on the UBTA project in the coming days. Kind regards and have a nice day.

    You need a layout first? Both the sites in your reference are in Wordpress. Is end product a PSD file or a Wordpress website?
