We would like to see creative ideas that COMBINE the best elements of each in an ELEGANT, AGGRESSIVE COMMERCIAL MANNER:

We like the layered earth because it looks like rammed earth but we would like to see a more refined render that will translate if in black and white. We think this could be our iconic if done well. Please feel free to play with all aspects of the concept: shape, color, render fidelity, etc.

We submit this image for your consideration as an example of how the shape in #1 could be manipulated. We have no opinion about the use of negative space for the letter "R".

We love that the typography evokes a piston in a cylinder but we are NOT crazy about the actual font.

We like the use of a more minimalist modern font as shown here.

If you choose to submit again or for the fist time, please take these comments into consideration together. DO NOT SUBMIT a concept that is merely the combination of these examples without meaningfully improving the prior example. We intend to award this contest to the best design with see without further iterations requested.

I am creating a company that is dedicated to the design and sale of robots for the building construction industry using rammed earth. The company is called Rokobe. Look at these photos to understand what "rammed earth" is:

My preference is that the logo conforms to the most fundamental design rules:
• Keep it simple, keep it simple, keep it simple
• Clearly represent the identity of the company
• It is effective in large and small scale
• It is effective in color and black and white

The winning design of this contest is not owned by another person (Tanvir A.)? You referenced a person's design and others copied it. But you have not given any awards to the original designer. Am I wrong, I don't know if there's an ethical problem here. If Tanvir A. not your account or not bought design of him, winner design will be a copyright infringement.

  Hi Cem Caner, We had the same concern but there are two points that are important to consider. One the contest was not sealed and that means everyone can see the other designs regardless of whether or not we share our opinion of what we like. Second, when we shared our opinion of other designs we made clear what we like, what we didn't like, and that we would reject all clones and copies. Our final award was unique in a variety of ways, typyography, font, and the designers own unique artistry. We think the differences are meaningful. Also, when we updated the contest, we made clear to everyone in the contest that we liked an element of these designs but made clear we didn't like the logo as is. Our hope was that we would recieve new submissions responsive to our comments.
