Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to drop by, I am looking for a logo for our startup named SolarPunk.

We provide specialty coffee from various suppliers around the world promoting change and fair practice throughout the supply chain. The majority of our supply is from Ethiopia and consideration has been given to using a Ibex or Nyala in the logo along with commonly used items such as sun/coffee bean/punk graphics. The color palette in early concepts has largely consisted of yellows/greens/browns for a warm sustainable feel. Of course the logo is also to be clear and aesthetically pleasing in black / white.

I did consider uploading some images of early sketches. All of which have had the text circle around the graphic but I wanted to see what others come up with from a blank slate for SolarPunk.

While I congratulate the winner on winning the contest, I'm still left baffled what this illustration is intended for, because it is anything but a logo. Maybe the contest holder intends to frame it and hang it on a wall in his room. But as a product label or for whatever branding purpose my humble opinion is it doesn't look too good.
