Underwater 3D environment for iOS aquatic game in Unity

Contest Brief

This 3d environment model will be imported for use in a Unity3D scene for a mobile game. No fish, rendering effects, or animation needed. This is basically a simple but ultra-realistic 3D underwater "map" for a mobile game. This is for a totally underwater deep an ocean floor, with no concern for the surface.

This 3D environment should be a ground mesh with textures (with skybox). It should essentially be a floor for a sandy underwater sea bed, with sparsely scattered rocks and plants. But the texture quality and realism should be as high as possible. Textures should be hi-res although meshes should be low-poly. It should be of a medium world size as the camera will and game actors will need to roam (swim) around in a large space in the center. I can supply more details on this in chat if needed.

Included is an aquatic asset pack from the Unity asset store that can be used for this project.

The final deliverable should be exported as an FBX file for the scene and all textures - with ocean floor and any/all rocks, plants, corals as separate layer objects. Must be importable and usable in the Unity 3D engine (you can download it for free and test with it).

This is a mobile game so the fewer polygons for the scene the more performance for the fish and game animations. I can ask my developer for a "max" number. Texture can be high-res to look real, and we can always down-size if needed.

i think 20k polygons max, 10-15k would be great

Just reminder instructions say not to use Unity Terrain features (as with mobile it is too heavy on the gpu)

It would be helpful as well if entries had a up-close image as well as a zoomed out image of your entire scene.

Showing the environment screenshots in Unity like @matsugae is really good to show its Unity-ready.

I still have a few questions: 1) How large should be the whole scene? 2) and please, tell more about the number of polygons. I make this base mesh (something like terrain): http://i.imgur.com/gP0lN7M.png

My developer said terrain uses up lots of cpu and for mobile a mesh would be better to keep frame rates good and have lots of fish.

I think you can convert a terrain to a mesh by a simple process (one of my friends and told me), but I'm not sure how to myself. You can prob find out online.

When i search for "Rapture of Bioshock" it looks like it is a city. This is not a city environment, it is an underwater sea-bed scene. Please read brief and see attached images.
