Contest Brief

Hi,

2021-05-15 I will soon choose 3 entries to focus on as time is running out. So hurry up to post what ever you have

2021-05-14 ADDING A NEW NOTE: Try to make the characters faces not look so much westerner (except for Pete) Most of our viewer will be Asians, but some from the rest of the world too. But make them with a more general/unrecognizable ethnicity...

We are looking for the best 7 black pen line (no colors) human cartoon characters. See sample file of line and shadow quality. DO NOT copy the actual characters.

We will later use these characters in an Animation, so if you are a skilled animator, feel free to animate your character as that will increase your chance to get the animation assignment later.

Is is crucial that you master FACIAL EXPRESSIONS and body language well.

Our characters:
1, Pete - We need our chef mascot in full figure. Standing up and doing a talk presentation.

2, Boss - He is a small company boss. He is actually the viewer of the animation. And the story is about his success or failure, so he should be looking a bit concerned. Add a sign above him with the text "YOU" to let the viewer be sure this is him.

3, Restaurant owner - This guy is the owner of a restaurant in the animation. The restaurant  is not so successful so he is in distress when seeing his empty restaurant.

4, Guest - He is a guest in the above restaurant. He is sitting at a restaurant table and chewing on some really tough and somewhat unpleasant food.

5, Tried farmer - A farmer that has a hard work. See sample for ideas (do not copy it)

6, Farm owner - He is an owner of a farm. He is a sleazy person who is only thinking about money and not his poor staff. He has a sloppy suit over his farmer pants.

7, The crab. Non-human, but with some kind of concerned face ;-) He is in a box ,see picture, (slice the box open to show the crab inside), He is holding up a sign above him saying "HELLO! What about me?" as he just got ignored.

All humans should look to be of the same human style as the Pete mascot.

    I see there is some confusion regarding ethnicity. Try to make them with a more general/unrecognizable ethnicity id possible, But all should (except for Pete) have same ethnicity style
