The subject is “how a vegan lifestyle can save the animals and also give someone a better conscience”

Just to give you a tip: Veganism is not only a diet but it is a lifestyle. Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. While no vegan will be 100% perfect, this is not about being perfect but about doing our best for the animals who are innocent & powerless.

We expect y'all to decide the title.

This is for a vegan website, so you decide the appropriate writing style.

Sorry about the last minute entry (#14); I only saw the contest with three hours left and had to rush it a bit; so the word count is around 1,300. I've left references and links, though, and I'd appreciate any feedback you can provide one way or another.

Excellent and interesting field.. contest holder, without any guarantee of winning it's difficult to find the motivation to create an awesome article at the current price.. why not allow us write 500 words and if you find a piece that attracts your interest,, you can hire your winner to expand the content to 2000 words.. i saw this contest since you posted it, i understand you have a budget but i recommend the word count be reduced to 500-700 words, after you've determined your writer, you can then get a full version.. what do you think ?

  Whilst there is no hard and fast rule to produce 2000 words, we feel there is a huge difference between 500 words and 2000 words article in terms of research skill. Anyway if you can show us your research skills and writing skills, we can consider even if you do it for a lesser number of words. There is also a guaranteed winner. You have one more day left.

Hello Contest Holder,
As an aspiring (like you said, it's a journey) vegan, this is an ideal outlet to share my thoughts.
However, 2000 words for $25 is less than half of the regular rate for a good writer, without any guarantee of a pay at all.
Would you consider making this a contest of 500 words instead - there isn't that much more that 2,000 words can tell you about a writer's abilities and affinity for a topic that 500 words will.
Also, you will get a lot more responses with that change, which would mean a larger pool of talent from which you would be able to choose the best candidate(s).

  What you said is absolutely true - keeping the momentum going for 2000 words is a bigger challenge than producing 4 chunks of 500 words.
  Would you be able to give us an idea of what the rates would be for regular contributions after this competition?
  (It makes me cringe to talk $. I would have gone past this project if I didn't share the philosophy behind your site)

  @TerrexTV thanks for your interest and we like the fact that you're a vegan. Though in this contest we have asked writers to do research and produce an article, going forward we would be doing the research (at least most of the time) and request writers to make it unique and add more appeal, emotion & inspiration to it. That would drastically reduce the work & time for writers since good research takes a lot of reading & time consuming. As an example if we provide research content which has 1500 words and if we request the writer to make it a 2000 word article, our budgets will depend on quotes we receive from writer’s pool we have selected, the topic, writer’s skill set & knowledge. Required number of words may vary drastically according to the topics. We hope we have clarified your query to the best of our ability.

It is fine if y'all are doing research online and we understand that. But just copying other website content and dumping into this article will not be accepted. You need to make it unique.   What makes you think there is no winner when our contest clearly has a label saying, winner guaranteed? Yes a winner will be chosen for sure and all the other attempts to present a good article will also not go unnoticed. So even if you're not a winner if your attempt was good it is still a good opportunity to get highlighted and to be considered for future work. Because we need many writers.
