Contest Brief

We need new seamless (image) tiles for our top-down game, the seamless tiles will be placed on complex svg paths/polygons.

Think about it this way, the terrain-tiles are from a bird-perspective (top-view) and there should not be that many details as in the images.
You may also increase the image size and use turbulence (as in the demo) so the terrain is not that repeatable.

See the illustration and demo and use that as a guideline and see the illustration image for what we would like. (See image attachment)

Very good knowledge about HTML-SVG, svg pattern and graphic skills are required for this project. Two seamless image tiles for each of the pattern below, one pattern fill and one for stroke-fill (transition).

These are the patterns:

pattern-lake
pattern-plains
pattern-grassland
pattern-brush
pattern-forest
pattern-hills
pattern-mountain

pattern-treefence
pattern-road

Requirements for the image tiles (png)

* Two images per tile one for fill (1024x1024 and 512x512) and one for stroke-fill (please less then 20px)
* Each tile-type should have a unique color and not too noise/turbulence (see demo)
* forest, mountain & lake are impassable and can be more noise/turbulence or have decor (like trees, mountain, water).
* Tiles must be seamless
* stroke/transition pattern should support other-nearby transition types.
* This is proof of concept project and we may want revision on the pattern.

Other requirements:

* Apply pattern on our demo files for demonstration.
* Provide some pattern ideas for the tile-types so we can agree on a concept.

Employer Feedback

“Excellent. He kept up with my nagging about details and delivered as I hoped. I verified his work, and implemented into our project with minimal of changes. Thank you! ”

Hi. I'ld like to participate to your contest but if you have any more specifications for guidance could be much better to know where to start. Eg can you provide some reference images or something like that to know what kind of style you're looking for? And if it's possible I'ld like to ask you that can you expand your explanation about the stroke fills? I didn't get clearly what to do for stroke fills.
    Sorry for all these questions.

Thanks for you feedback. I will provide an updated description later today with more details on how we would like the tiles done.
