Contest Brief

I am looking for someone highly creative with a natural flair for fantasy. I would like a poster to promote my YA, Fantasy book saga filled with magic & mystery.

The poster will contain 5 unique characters and text. If you think you can do this, please read below for more detail:

-Two eighteen year old Caucasian girls (Lexovia and Dezaray) walk towards the audience. They look the same except, Dezaray: the girl on the left has long brown hair, pale green eyes and is wearing a t-shirt and trousers. Lexovia: The girl on the right has short, spiky silver hair, bright flame eyes, a nose piercing and pointed ears. She wears black combat clothes and boots.

-Between the girls is a wall of water so they appear as each other’s reflection.

-Where the girls hands touch the water, vibrant power glows. Dezaray has violet power. Lexovia has orange power.

-Behind Lexovia, hands push against the wall of water as if trying to break out.

-Three characters stand in the background behind Dezaray:

1. Nathaniel: A stern looking dark skinned 21 year old man with short black hair and muscular arms. He stands next to (2.)Jude: Caucasian 18 year old boy with short ash-blonde hair. An eyebrow piercing and dark green eyes. He chuckles and wears a fedora.

In front of the boys, a girl crouches. Her name is (3)Sakiya: an Asian fifteen year old girl with long black hair and a straight fringe. She has pink flames in the palm of her hands and grins.

-In a corner of the poster, I would like the images of books 1, 2 & 3 inserted with the Text: This summer, be Swept Away...

Title: The Water Rushes Saga
Subtitle: What if there was another you, living in another world?

I have attached some images to give an idea of what I mean. I have also included the covers for book 1 (At Water's Edge), book 2 (Caught in the Ripples). The cover for book 3 (Swept Away) will only be sent to the winner as it is not yet released.

  This type of illustrations take a lot of time to make (12 to 15 hours, at least in my case), you should consider rating and giving productive feedback to each and every entry as a sign of respect for the art, as artists we need to know the areas we can improve so we can become better, and we also love to know what did you like the most so we can build upon that.
