ZEquate.com Calculator Contest (create the best calc using provided spreadsheet)

  • Status: Closed
  • Prize: $90
  • Entries Received: 14
  • Winner: ravikc12

Contest Brief

Create an online calculator for the site ZEquate.com.

Calculators are simple to create. Just enter a title, description, define your variables, and write your equations. The google doc spreadsheet in the link below does most of the javascript and html code for you... all you need to do is follow the instructions on page 1.

Please make a copy of the spreadsheet before you begin so you are not conflicting with other contestants. When you submit, please provide the share link to your new google doc. You may submit as many calculators as you like.

The $90 prize goes to whoever creates the most useful calculator as determined by our judge panel. The winner will also receive $50 worth of ZEquate.com advertising credits and their calculator will be posted to our site.

As a bonus to participants, all runner-ups that submit useful and functional calculators will receive $25 worth of ZEquate.com advertising credits, as well as get their calculators posted online.

Optional: You can submit one image file (type = .gif) to go along with your calculator. This will be included in the description and makes for a nicer looking calculator. See Example: http://zequate.com/browse2/13-physics/48-newton-s-second-law

Good luck and thank you!

I can send you better and more sophisticated calculators and converters if you allow plain javascript code instead of only the automatically generated code.
